The Academia Superior de Idiomas was founded in 1988 in Quito by our now Academic Director Ing. Eugenio Cordova and is now the oldest existing school in the Ecuadorian capital. We currently teach Spanish in our schools in Quito, Otavalo, the Galapagos Islands, northern Peru and also in our Travelling Classrooms and Spanish Specials. Our family-runned school has been recognized by former students and other schools as the leading Spanish school in Ecuador. One reason for this accomplishment is our teachers! We only work with fixed-salary teachers with many years of experience. On average they stay with our school for 14 years, some of them for 20 years or more. All our teachers have university degrees. During our years of experience, we have refined our unique academic system to include our teaching materials and all grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening and writing abilities. Every student will be supervised and guided through his whole stay, guaranteeing a fast and effective learning process. Our newest school in Peru is in a prime location right on the Pacific Coast and the next to the Panamerican Highway. We use the same teaching methodology in all of our schools in Ecuador and Peru, so you can combine our courses in northern Peru with classes in Ecuador. You can make your own travel arrangements or book our fixed transfer packages. If you dont want to fly to Chiclayo, we offer transfers from Lima or Ecuador. Combine Spanish Classes in Quito, Otavalo or any of our Spanish Specials with Spanish Classes in Peru!

E stato davvero fantastico!Non dimenticherò mai i miei insegnanti peruviani che erano sempre attenti a noi, studenti e gente da ogni angolo del mondo, che viene per frequentare i corsi di spagnolo e divertirsi:) L'insegnamento e i servizi sono stati all'altezza, tutto era proprio così come me lo immaginavo: una scuola di lingue a 1 minuto dalla bellissima spiaggia, lo staff sempre disponibile e gentile, i residence a 3-5 minuti dalla scuola.Vi consiglio di non perdere il tempo e fare la valigia!

The school is in a great location, really close to the beach. It's in a normally quiet beach town 30 minutes from the major city of Chiclayo. I enjoyed taking Spanish lessons from the Peruvian teachers. The classes are small and they include different ways of learnin. I stayed in student housing with roommates and I really liked the family atmosphere with my fellow students. I think that's what I looked the most. What I liked the least was the limited food options in this small town.
